SERVICES
Teens and Young Adults
I work extensively with young people navigating their teen and early adult life, creating a warm and safe environment where they can explore who they are and who they're becoming. I support those with challenges such as anxiety, depression, relational stress, and difficulties with self-esteem and identity development. As an LGBTQIA+ ally, I am passionate about supporting young people as they navigate identity, belonging, and self-expression.

In sessions I will be guided by what the client wishes to focus on, including developing emotional awareness and regulation, understanding relational patterns, and navigating academic, social, or family stressors. I integrate talk therapy with practical tools such as mindfulness, communication skills, and cognitive-behavioral strategies, to help clients feel more grounded and capable in their daily lives.

The therapeutic process often includes helping teens and emerging adults make sense of how their experiences and internal narratives shape how they feel and respond, while also building confidence, resilience, and a clearer sense of self. I collaborate with parents or caregivers to support consistency at home, always balancing developmental needs and teen autonomy with family alignment and support.
Parents
Parenting can be rewarding and challenging in equal measure, especially when a child is struggling emotionally or relationally. I support parents who want to better understand their child, strengthen connection and respond to difficult behaviors or developmental transitions with confidence and compassion.

Therapy with parents may focus on:
  • Strengthening communication and connection
  • Navigating conflict, boundaries & family dynamics
  • Supporting teens through identity, school stress and emotional challenges
  • Parenting strategies rooted in attachment & attunement
  • Understanding how your own upbringing influences how you parent

Some parents seek therapy individually; others attend sessions in support of their child’s treatment. I collaborate to identify what approach feels most helpful for the family and aligns with the needs of the teen or young adult.

I offer guidance without judgment, supporting parents in making thoughtful, informed choices while honoring the values and strengths already present in their family system.
Foster and Adoption

I have specialized training and experience supporting the foster and adoption community, including adoptive parents, adoptees, and individuals with experiences of foster care. My work in this area is informed by both personal and professional experience, and I approach these relationships with sensitivity to the complexities of family systems, identity, and attachment.
