ABOUT ME
KS headshot 2025_edited.jpg

My work integrates Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, psychodynamic perspectives, and strengths-based approaches. This allows me to tailor our work to your goals and what feels most helpful and relevant to you.

Therapy with me is a space to slow down, make sense of what feels overwhelming or stuck, and explore how past experiences, beliefs, and relational patterns may be shaping your current challenges. As insight deepens, clients often find they have greater clarity, emotional resilience, and a renewed ability to move forward in ways that align with their values.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Dominican University of California with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I am licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. I am also a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), a professional organization committed to advancing the practice and standards of mental health care across the state.

I have served on the Board of Directors for the Marin County chapter of CAMFT for the past four years, supporting pre-licensed clinicians and helping to provide resources, connection, and continuing education for our local membership.  Being part of this community keeps me engaged, inspired, and continually learning so I can offer the most thoughtful and effective support to the clients I work with.

I offer both in-person and virtual therapy sessions.
